My Bungalow

After 2 years of continual battles with the Housing Association, the local council and the social services and with the help of local councillors and my MP, in May 2002 moved to a bungalow in Lightwater. This is just on the other side of the M3 to Bagshot where my parents and my sister both have their homes.

To the left above you can see my bungalow with my Ford Focus car parked outside. It wasn't long before I put my mark on the place by putting my Chelsea sticker in the window and to the right the picture is of one of the 2 ponds at Lightwater Country Park which is a 5 minute walk from my home.

I had a patio constructed in my back garden in August 2002 by an old school friend Paul Stokes and his brother-in-law Lamon. The pictures to the left and right above show the patio in different stages of construction.

My second summer in Lightwater and in early June my friend Steve constructs a 'lean-to' which is now positioned just above my shed and joined to my bungalow just above the back door. (above right). My garden is now taking shape thanks in the main to Lamon who I have employed as a gardener. With the help of Pauls' dad (above left) in late June, he laid a turf next to his patio.

Above left, right and below right - work continues in my garden. Below left you can see Steve's Lean-to in it's final position.
