The Hotel Tikar is a small family run hotel in Garrucha (southern Spain) which is 100% accessible for wheelchairs. It has a lift to all levels, no steps or door lips, wide doorways, accessible toilets, ramps, adjustable beds, smooth floors throughout and disabled parking right outside. The hotel is not exclusively used by disabled guests but is absolutely ideal for the wheelchair user who, like me, wants a little independence to be able to get around under their own steam.
